He picked up his supply of medication before jumping onto the flight to Texas, all the while looking out the oval window, not saying a word. It had not been that long since he last saw some of their faces, but to see all of them together in one setting - that didn't happen all that often.
Now he was in a cab heading over to the house where they would all convene. He felt like he should be more comfortable and more relaxed, that he shouldn't feel apprehensive and want it all to be over quickly.
But all the uneasiness fell away when he stepped out of the taxi. Fresh air, beautiful lawn, familiar faces... They didn't do this nearly often enough.
"Julius," Ryan greeted when he stepped onto the expansive property, the smile coming automatically, hand-in-hand with the relief.
