Dionysus wasn't like the other Olympians, at least not to her. She could never think herself in danger with him, remembered too many hours alone with him for her to fear him now. That wasn't him though, was it? If they changed over time based on belief, he'd be more like them, less like her hunter, wouldn't he? He might be able to overpower her physically, force her to submit to him but he'd only get the chance once.. even if she did enjoy it, at least that would be what she'd tell herself.
As much as she tried to convince herself and him that she was different from the others, one thing she could not deny. Those bright blue eyes of hers kept drifting back to him, watching him almost shyly from beneath her lashes. She didn't want to, but she couldn't help it. He tempted her...and that was frightening.
She had made him a promise, to hold him through a single night, she meant to keep it if he still wanted it. The box was relinquished to him and then she nodded and let him take her bag. "Thank you." she replied again, her hand twitching against her side after it brushed his in passing.
