This was Beroe, had the doorman told her that Dionysus didn't know her, she would have disappeared for who knows how long from his realm of contact. She didn't like games of social or emotional sorts, she had never been that type of girl. He didn't though and when he opened the door, she shifted the box she had brought to one hand so she could reach up and cup his neck with the other, rise up onto tiptoes and kiss his cheek in greetings. "Thank you for inviting me." It was all quite innocent, sweet.
She hadn't ran the whole way, she didn't want to arrive out of breath, or risk tearing her filmy under shirt on too many brambles, just from her cottage to the bus stop in the park. It wasn't that far really. "Thank you." he had made her blush, just a little. "I brought dessert?" she said and offered him the box, then she shifted her bag gently against her hip.
Dionysus was right, if she had her way she would be frolicking half naked in the woods come sunset, and he was welcome to join her. It was what she did most nights before her midnight swim anyway. It seemed he did know her at least a little. "Dinner smells lovely, Eu..Dionysus."
