His eyes glazed over, but his gaze flickered upwards and over towards her before he let the thoughts settle in and take hold of him, before they could drag him back into depths he wished not to return to.
He gazed down at the glass of wine in his hand, tilting his head to one side. Not too many days ago he'd been sitting at this very spot drinking a bottle of beer with another Greek god sitting where Amphitrite was. Their conversation had been quite different.
