"I don't really like it," Amphitrite confided. "It seems like we should be able to stretch out and know what's in them and the fact that I can't like I could -- it itches in the back of my brain. So land's better. Even if I can't stay too far away from the shore for long without getting uncomfortable."
She stretched again, arching a little on the sofa before trying to find a comfortable spot. Even after all these years, air currents were never the same as the water, and sitting on something that stood totally still could make her feel off.
"I was in France for a while," she volunteered, temporarily still on the sofa. "What about you? Where did you spend the longest?"
