She blushed then and hid behind her glass. She hated how she did this. She took the limelight (hell she was one), from those that should get it and shined it on her. She'd invited him here to thank him, and she'd gotten to talk about herself.
She was a selfish creature, and she hated it. Smiling she set her glass down, "well I couldn't do it without you. I only do my part." She shrugged, not wanting to steal the moment. "You shouldn't let me do that, go on like that. I didn't invite you here so you could hear me toot my own horn."
Smiling she poured another glass, offering the wine to him "so this is to you. My thanks and undying gratitude. I don't say it quite often enough."
