"No; fortunately not." Everything had changed for all of them. Yet some things had remained the same and would never change. It may have been regrettable but at the same time it was also comforting. If you constantly adapted to change again and again, there would be nothing left of you in the end. Immortality wasn't worth that sacrifice.
