"Good, I love chocolate." It was slightly unsettling to watch Dave cut the cake. Dylan's sharp eyes took in the sight of his boyfriend's bony hands, the visible movement of his bones under his thin skin and it was almost painful to see. He successfully managed to keep the smile on his face, however, since he was happy, and he took his slice of cake graciously. Hoping to lead by example, Dylan quickly reached his arm across the table to pluck a fork from the center and used it to take an over-sized bite out of his piece of cake. The gratuitous amounts of icing didn't quite fit in his mouth and it left a glop of colored frosting on his upper lip that he licked away with a grin. "Delicious." He declared, and it was, because there was nothing better than these moments when he got to be alone with Dave. He put his finger to his plate and swiped a fingertip full of icing, extending it to Dave with a sly smile. "Some of your best work, I think."
