It had been a long day at the chop shop, not to mention just a long week in general. Despite the fact that everyone received an extra hour of pay because of a miracle that deemed clocks should move back one hour world-wide, the workers at Jimmy's Auto Shop still bitched and moaned to pass the day, and the final hours of a highly anticipated Friday.
Matt O'Shea bitched and moaned right along with the rest of them, but found himself lucky when a '69 Camaro SS was given to him to dismantle. He worked a hell lot better with older models, even if he didn't know why it was, but when it came close to midnight, Matt was the only guy around with a shitty grin on his face and ready to punch his time card.
"You finished that Camaro, O'Shea? Bullshit!" Someone yelled at him as Matt flipped him off, the foul language not disturbing the bad mood he had, determined to show up at Grace's work with a pleasant mood to kick off the night.
Twenty minutes later, Karl arrived at the Gentleman's Club and quietly observed the outside of the building before walking in, in a very similar manner like the very first time. Except this time, he had wry smiles from every dark corner of the club.
"Come to see your girlfriend, Matt?" cooed a blond from the doorway he walked up to, the one that led to the private rooms as well as "dressing rooms".
"Hiya, doll. Yeah, Grace around?" His eyes scanned the empty hallway behind the red see-through satin drapes.
"Mmm, last I saw she went thataway." The way too skinny blonde jabbed a red painted fingernail down the hallway. "But don't go, play a little with me. She's probably real busy right now, but I'm free~"
"Maybe later, sweetheart."
Knowing what Grace would do to the most-likely anorexic blonde and himself if she found out that he even gave an inch for the offer, Matt pulled away from the girl and brushed aside the satin curtains.
