Switching her focus from herself to Archie, Horror studied the look on his face as she thought over what he said. She wasn’t quite sure which interested her more. “Oh yes, I meant to thank you. They were most helpful. This year was….rough. Dorian was….-” here Horror smiled “-most interesting. As was Stanley.” Here, her smile faltered a little as she tried to think of why. There was something about Stanley. Horror shook her head and the smile returned full force. “I certainly didn’t mean for you to have to do without, however. I didn’t think I was that hard on the boy. I suppose he just isn’t used to it.”
Horror tilted her head and gave Archie a considering look. “True enough. I suppose I’ll just have to figure out how to best use this body. It could have its advantages. There must be a reason for this. Until I find it, I think I’ll stay this way. And I was planning on staying here, seeing as how you so generously offered.” Horror arched her eyebrows and gave him a questioning sort of smirk. If there was anyone whose opinion Horror actually took into consideration, it was Carnival.
