"It's a social event," Greed responded simply, at least for the woman's question concerning Sins. He did not speak for all, and as far as he was concerned, there were very little of that Sin-presence in the room. Pride wouldn't have cared to come, and without Pride coming, neither would have Envy. Gluttony and Sloth, though they were light-hearted fools that would revel in the gathering of the glamorous, would be unlikely to attend.
Which left loyal Wrath - but even that was a presence that Greed did not sense, strangely enough.
"To show off ourselves, not exactly a pissing contest, if you'd pardon my language, madame." Greed smirked before continuing to stroke the nape of the Duchess' bare neck. "After all, we could pretend to play nice for one night, if the benefits are in our favor. Can't we, Raum?"
His fingers briefly passed over the clasp of the choker, more than willing to pull it into a tight hold if something else than the anticipated answer was to come out.
