His smile faltered for a brief moment when the sharp stiletto heel stabbed him in the foot. It was far from as wounding as a knife, but still equally painful, causing the Sin to growl lowly at the treatment, fingers immediately winding tight around the clasp that held the pearl and diamond choker together on Raum's neck.
"Try that again and the next person that recognizes for just what you are will be the whole damn room," he hissed into Raum's ear, not at all trying to muffle what he was saying for the sake of the third-party listening.
"My apologies, madame." Greed inclined his head just so for the apology to the woman, his face fading from annoyed to charming, a very easy transition. And because the woman herself obviously knew who Raum truly was, and what, it was much more easy to be pleasant towards her. Despite the contempt he had for his Virtue-counterpart, Greed was more than charitable at the moment to share the humor at the Duchess' unfortunate situation.
"For the aesthetics part, I am. However, she chose the golden curls and ruby lips for herself. I'd say she should be praised for her own good tastes in her physical attributes."
