He barely had the time to pull his hands out of his pockets, and already she'd wrapped herself around him. It was strange, because he didn't miss her as much as he missed all the little things about her, that came with her, that only she could make him think of.
It was always the little things - some of which he might have hated, once upon a time, and probably hated even more because of the effects it had.
He ran his hand down her back a little, closing his eyes to just feel her in his arms, to enjoy their moment together that would last no time at all in the face of eternity.
To think - a moment of hesitation and he might have never been on board this vessel tonight, never got the chance to see her, hold her, hear her voice in a soft murmur resonating in his ear.
"It's good to see you again." More than just good. More than anything he could ask for at this moment.
