"We're clean," Alyssa said, stepping behind him to slide the bolt and chain into place over the door. Then she went to check the curtains and a make sure that the only thing that could be seen through them was maybe the impressions of light. She'd hung an extra sheet over there when she first moved in, with the excuse that she couldn't sleep in the day otherwise... but the truth of the matter was the she didn't want Thug 2 to see even her outline.
And now, with the light of the sun rising up, even that would be even more difficult. Running her hands through her hair tiredly, noticing too late the way it tugged her T-Shirt up, Alyssa turned to face her partner. "Want anything? Coffee? Tea? I think I have some yogurt."
