She closed her eyes. There was a tenderness there which threatened to undo her, if she wasn't careful.
Maybe that was why Grace let him touch her, even if she was going to have to clean the jacket later. Maybe that was why she just couldn't hold this mess against him.
"You should get back to work," she murmered against his skin. Pulling back enough to meet his eyes, Grace continued, "I'm close to working my way up. This will take us far, if we can make it." Her gaze grew firm, and she stepped back, zipping up her jacket from how it had somehow come undone, "Don't screw it up, Matt. We could have a good thing going."
Alyssa's gaze cut abruptly towards the part of the wall she'd noticed that didn't quite match up with the rest of the shop, and she nodded her head towards it ever so slightly in the shadow of Karl's large form.
Grace straightened, and put out a hand on Matt's chest to push past him. "I've gotta get some sleep."
