Who: Nadia and Adonis When: Mid Morning Where: Central Park Rating: Um... medium rare???
Nadia finished her song and beamed at the chink of coins that fell into her hat. She rested her guitar on the grass beside her and scooped up the coins, counting out loud as she plucked them out of her hat one by one. Her smile faded slightly, when she realised there wasn't enough for a slice of peach pie (something she had been craving since that morning) but there was enough for a chai latte, so she stood up and dusted the grass off her faded jeans.
Scooping up her guitar and slinging the strap around so she was wearing it across her back, she walked through the park towards the small cafe that she frequented. Maybe she would get lucky and find a coin on the way.
After a few minutes she saw something flash in a nearby flowerbed. Nadia gave a small cry of excitement before dropping to her knees, gently pushing aside the daffodils and plucking out a shiny quarter. It wasn't much, but she was definitely on her way.
A shadow fell over her and she looked up, raising a hand to shelter her eyes from the glare of the sunlight.
"Um... hi?" she said, wondering who this stranger was.
