Diligence, aka Constance Webber, glanced over her resume and lest of references one last time as she prepared herself. She had participated in hundreds, possibly thousands of interviews, but this was different. This was something involving somebody she held in high esteem, so everything had to be perfect.
She knew that she could ace this, not just because of what and who she was, but because it was important. She had already done the research, reached back through her network of hard-working devotees in order to truly understand and absorb what makes someone an incredibly efficient and treasured secretary, and even double-checked with all of her references just in case. Diligence would never want to let Gabriel down, she would never forgive herself for that.
Of course, arriving five minutes early was mandatory for Diligence. Not only did it send the best impression, but it was also good form.
