Triton put his bags in an unobtrusive spot against the wall. There was no rush in getting settled in.
“I’m glad to know now. I won’t tell anyone else.” If Poseidon wanted to stay hidden, there was no possible way Triton would give up his location. “I’ll bring up my things later. I’m not that hungry just yet.” As he said this, Triton glanced around. No wonder the phone was lost. Well, not for long, he said silently. He’d get things sorted out here.
“Have you been here long?” That was one question, just one, of the many Triton had. Why, since when, was there anything he needed, wanted, what could he do, why hadn’t he been told……but he wouldn’t ask. He would never ask.
