The only people Triton had longed to see apart from his daughters were his parents, and to say he was looking forward to seeing his father again was an understatement. He’d always been his Poseidon’s messenger, and his willing servant, but most importantly, he had always been his son first and foremost.
He was, of course, a little concerned. He was going to his father with every intention of doing anything he could to help. He’d made arrangements to do so as quickly as he could, and had reluctantly left Amaterasu behind. It would have been nice to have her with him, and to introduce her to Poseidon, but……he wanted to check on his father first, make sure things were alright. He’d been surprised to hear from Ares that his father was back in the first place, and that Ares was staying with him….well. He just didn’t know what to expect.
He was content enough to have Ares bring him to where they were staying, and to try not to ask too many questions. He’d see his father soon enough.
When they actually got to his father’s place, Triton picked up his bag and headed right for the door.
