Grace Kim did not have the best eyes. The neon lights shining on her made it so that men's faces were hard to discern. But she was very attuned to money. That was why she was here, after all.
So it was natural that when someone started waving to her, the first thing she focused on was a wad of green. There was a switch on the floor that she could hit to signal that she was getting off the stage, and she hit it by wrapping her legs around the pole and dipping her waist straight back -- neatly bending backwards in half, she smoothed her hands down her sides before tripping the switch.
It took one or two more thrusts for the next girl to work her way on stage, and the ridiculously high heels Grace was wearing helped do all sorts of interesting things to her walk as she strutted off-stage. The lights were still bright and so Grace didn't recognize the man who held the money until she was already almost on top of him.
Grace stilled. It couldn't be - her ex-boyfriend couldn't have found her, could he? Maybe if she just... with nonchalance that was obviously forced, Grace walked away from the ex over to Thug 3. 'I'm taking my twenty early,' she said, and didn't wait for a response. She just walked into the break room to pick up her leather coat and cigarettes ans slipped out into a narrow alley.
Alyssa Higurashi just hoped that Karl was smart enough to play along. She couldn't talk to him in there, not without getting far too close to his face and Grace kept the lap dances strictly professional. But if he followed her out... and Thug 3 knew that something was wrong with her... maybe she had a prayer of keeping her cover.
