Who: Xolotl, Quetzalcoatl What: Xolotl is moving in, when complications arise Where: Quetzalcoatl's apartment When: Wednesday afternoon Warnings: Possibly language, mention of drug use, death
The sun was shining, birds were singing, and Quetzalcoatl felt like life might finally be taking a permanent turn for the better. He was stretched out across the couch in his apartment, waiting for his brother to arrive, and trying not to feel jittery. To have Xolotl back, after all these years...it felt too good to be true. With his twin by his side, Quetzalcoatl felt like the past barely mattered, like the fact that his family and comrades were scattered and that he living as a mortal was irrelevant. Xololt was back, and he was complete.
Quetzalcoatl laughed; he'd always been too sentimental for his own good. That apparently was never going to change. But the sheer joy he felt at having Xolotl back with him was hard to contain. He was practically glowing with it. His musings were interrupted by a knock at the door, and he sprang off the couch to meet Xolotl.
