who: Radio and Media
when: Sunday night
where: Outside Media's door and beyond
It seemed these days that Radio was almost always if not always in some kind of panic. He had returned from the boonies after a few weeks of avoiding any area with any kind of remote connection to the Internet only to find that two major companies involved in satellite radio had decide to merge. This was panic-inducing and twofold. For one thing, this particular merger was not doing too well, which meant another blow to him, and for another thing, he had been completely unaware that it was happening, even though he had been connected to his waves while in the middle of nowhere. This terrified Radio, if satellite radio was becoming disassociated from regular radio in the minds of its loyal mortal followers, soon another diety might very well pop up and there would go half of Radio's power, he would fall far into obscurity, he'd fade, he'd die, like that one crazy greek who'd died, except he wouldn't come back and all sorts of awful things and - and -
And then the message from Media had came and, of course, he'd been completely distracted from all of his troubles becuase hot damn he would have braved a week alone with Bill if it meant an hour with Her and all that She offered. He decided to put on his best suit - the one she'd given him, obviously - and hired a cab with what little money he had on hand at the time and sped over to her last known address (she couldn't have moved already? he'd be sunk if she had) in hopes of catching her before she went out. He was not naive, he knew he couldn't possibly be at the top of her list, but damn if he wasn't going to keep trying to get her attention. Frankly, Radio was smitten, which was always dangerous. He knocked exactly twice on the door and then stuck his hand in his pockets and waited with all the anxiety of a sixteen year old boy. He removed his glasses, and then put them back on again. Had she said she liked them or not? For the life of him, he couldn't remember!
