But he couldn't imagine himself knowing everything - if US Military knew everything, how much harm would he end up inflicting on to others? This country was already on its delusional crusade, with mortals in authoritative positions more often than not on a power trip, using him as a tool for the American empire.
It was a scary thought, and it was a lot to deal with. He'd rather know everything or know nothing - inbetween wasn't a nice place to be at.
