Triton watched his daughter stretch out on the deck, then looked up at the sky she was looking up into. It was a beautiful day, and after deciding to risk the boat even after the weather forecast, Triton thought it might have something to do with another member of this particular cruise. He glanced over at Amaterasu with a quick smile before resting his gaze on Triteia again.
“I’ve done a lot of business with a particular gallery. The owner was kind enough to lend me his boat. I suppose he’s known me long enough to feel he can trust me with it.” Triton looked up at the sails and then down at the wood under his hands. “I’m very glad he did.”
