The last time Amaterasu could remember being on the water probably was when she made the voyage from her homeland to this new place, and while it had been many years ago, it could not even compare to this little pleasure voyage.
Seated off to the side a bit, Amaterasu was caught up in the infectious delight of the Sea God and his daughter, though how anyone could dislike the soft spray of salt water or the gliding of the boat through water, she would never be able to tell. It was a lot cooler on the water too, far more temperate than what it had been in the city. The threatening clouds didn't stand a chance though, Amaterasu lending what little she could to the trip by ensuring a beautiful day that they all could enjoy.
It was Triton and his daughters though, that pulled a smile from the Japanese Goddess. There was a certain glow about him when it came to his family, and a whole new sort of apparent familiarity for him being out in his element. Athena's quiet regalness was fast becoming as familiar as Triteia's bubblyness, and there wasn't a single day that Amaterasu wasn't glad to be able to have her little place. It was hard not to be a little envious, watching the ease in which they all interacted and the obvious love between them all, a far cry from her brothers and her, but not so much her and her mortal children from so long ago.
