Finding peace was rarely this easy, but it was welcome. Having Triteia close after so long being without her felt good. It was a little of what he used to have. As long as he had his family close, where he could watch over them and see them, talk to them…..things were better.

When Triteia pulled away, he followed her gaze out over the water before casting her a sideways glance. “There are bedrooms downstairs. You could always take a nap.” He found it difficult to disguise the amusement in his voice. He didn’t think Triteia would sleep away her time on the boat and risk missing out on anything. It had been difficult enough to convince her she wasn’t missing anything when she slept as a child.
