"Well, yes, but... How was I supposed to believe that there was a two headed woman behind me?" Persephone pondered for a moment, "Huh. I guess that's the point of the museum, isn't it?" She giggled a bit, "I'm sorry, I should have taken your word for it."
She tilted her head to the side and watched him, wondering how they had gotten this far in the first place. She honestly hadn't even expected him to say yes when she asked him to come, so when he did, it had made her so happy. She was still glad he was here, because it was a step in the right direction. She did want them to be friends. To just be able to enjoy the other's company if they wanted to. To be able to talk if they needed to.
And even though they were here and having fun, she knew he was fighting it still. Not the having fun part. She was certain Ares could have fun anywhere. But the being able to look at her as a friend and not push her away like she was some plague. It didn't do well for a girl's self-esteem. If he'd just give her a reason, maybe she'd drop it. But he didn't.
Persephone shook her head and smiled, patting the railing beside her as if silently asking him to join her. "I think you have more than you'd admit."
