Athena blinked. This was the first time she'd spoken to Morpheus in person, and unlike online, when she had the opportunity to read and reread what he wrote in an attempt to puzzle out his meeting, here she only had one shot. It was somewhat odd to actually see him in person, and her brows drew together in thought.
She disregarded the first statement in reference to the book. It was secondary, and probably full of more hidden depths than she had a chance to plum. On the other hand, what he was saying about his arrival was far more relevant. He had not been looking for the place, but he had been... looking for her? He referenced her previous nightmare on the beach, that much was clear.
"Yes, this is better." Athena paused and assessed him. "Were you looking for me?"
If there was an emergency, he certainly would have said something by now. The blogs had been quiet, and she had not received any phone calls. Athena shifted slightly to the side in silent invitation for him to ascend up the wooden steps on to her deck if he wished.
