Horror had been waiting for Hollywood to arrive, just waiting. He had arranged some of the chairs in the private theatre into a cozy little circle, with a table set in the middle, ready for their dinner. It had been so long since he’d seen her….really actually seen her. He wasn’t just about movies, he was so much more than that, but he could admit that movies were a good source of power for him. A good source of power……and sometimes he returned the favour. His followers were quite capable of putting money and worship into Hollywood’s hands. Horror liked to make sure she was reminded of that.
Though it had been awhile, Horror could feel her presence when she arrived. He made certain everything looked just right, including himself. Calm, cool, and charming tonight. One way to catch a lady off her guard, though he hadn’t yet decided if he was going to do anything more than catch up with Holly. It was always incredibly satisfying to get a reaction form someone like her, but it was also nice to let the anticipation of a scare build up.
He waited patiently enough, but when he felt Holly getting closer, along with the very familiar feel of his daughter, Horror held back no longer. The door to the private theatre was flung open and he gave the two women his brightest, most innocent fake smile. “Why, there you are! I’ve been waiting. I see Corvina led you safely through our dark halls. Thank you, my darling. You’re just wonderful. You can run along and do what you like now.” He gave Corvina one more loving smile which was met with indifference. She never believed him. Horror turned the smile to Holly. “Come in.”
