Current music:My Will Be a Dead Man, Project 86

Who: Athena and Susano'o [Open to Amaterasu - and I suppose the Titans if they want to hide in the trees and watch]
What: A reckoning.
When: Backdated to Friday, June 26th
Where: Hook Mountain, upstate NY
Warnings: Violence, language.

Mountain air may be thinner, but on a hot rainy New York day, the elevation was welcome. Athena waited in an open stretch of land - they were protected from the sheer drop off the mountain by several trees and to her right what little remained of the mountaintop ascended in a rough cliff. Rocks of various sizes littered the ground - it would hurt to fall on this terrain.

Athena did not plan to be the one falling. She had not brought her weapons - none but what she had access to at all times - and was perfectly comfortable with that. A weapon would make restraining herself from killing him all the more difficult. She wore clothing tight enough so that it would provide him no purchase if he was inclined to grab and of such material that it would still allow her to move with ease.

Her ever-present hold on her power had unclenched just enough so that it would be a beacon - ancient, unwavering, and strong - though Athena had very little intention of using an iota more of her strength than necessary, the power that was hers by birth, the superhuman-strength that allowed her to carry the stone which had become Mt. Lykabettos was humming under her skin, itching to be unleashed.

She wanted to break every bone in this upstart's body and smear his internal organs into paste. And she had no reason not to make it so.
