Dev turned at the familiar voice, taking in the god College. Which... was really not something she should be thinking about, considering it still caused her brain to short out. She'd been more than a little uneasy meeting him when he offered to tutor her, but he'd ended up being surprisingly good company, and she'd enjoyed herself even if she found him a little outrageous. And, well, this club was fantastic. And it was thanks to him.
So she smiled at him, a real smile, even if it was a little wary at the edges. "Dean!" Her gaze dropped to the frothy orange drink in his hand, "What's a mimosa?" Her smile morphed into a teasing grin, "I don't do drinks on demand. Mah mama warned me about those," she added, thickening her drawl.
She felt Jason come up beside her and automatically shifted to make way for him in the conversation. "Is this a friend of yours, Dev?" he asked.
"Oh! Yes!" she said, hardly pausing to think about the fact that she was actually claiming College as a friend. "Jason this is Dean. Dean, my friend Jason. Dean's the one who knew about this club," Dev explained to Jason before turning to beam at College. "Thanks for that, by the way."
