This was entirely unacceptable. It was an unprovoked attack in every way; Triton had only been in the wrong place at the wrong time - getting in the way of millenniums worth of animosity could have happened to anybody. But it happened to Triton. He was wounded. She was furious.
Unfortunately, Athena did not have the luxury of venting her frustration immediately. She very much doubted that there would be another attack at Triton's home, as this had not been personal, all the same, despite her speaking to Triton over the internet, she was very glad that she had the excuse to go see him, in person, immediately. She also felt comforted that she would be able to guard over Triton in his weakened state and Triteia, who although skilled had never been in either Triton or Athena's league.
She drove to Triton's home, renting a car and communicating with the doctor who she'd sent to him, mentally going over her list of his injuries in order to prepare herself. She used her key to open the door, and after embracing and speaking briefly with Triteia, entered Triton's bedroom.
"Hello, Triton," Athena said softly, closing the door quietly behind her.
