It wasn’t the sun’s heat that threatened Rave so much as the fact that her skin is so rarely touched by it that, goddess or not, she’s going to get burned, and a sunburn when you’re trying to run around Disney for a week would not be an awesome thing at all.
She hadn’t thought about what it was that made Jack so attractive, and in the case of both the movie and the actor standing just off to the left now that lack of hygiene was makeup. As for Raven, she liked the fact that he was as meticulous as he was, and that they had found a real balance between their clutters of treasures and neatness – their place was clean, if a little messy at times. If girls couldn’t appreciate his quirks, well.. actually, better for her, Fuck them, anyway.
She squeaked a bit at the shout, eyes lifting to the crowd finally then, and widening to see just how many had gathered. She managed to shoot a look to Jack with an apologetic-but-not-really smile as Raven showed off the ring and then stood to scoop her into his arms. She held him tight as he set her back down, nuzzling into his neck, fingers slipping through his hair as the other hand lifted from his back to look at the ring. Softly, she awed, “Ohh.. it’s so pretty..” as the diamonds sparkled in the sunlight and the violent pink band shined. She lowered her hand again and tightened up her arms, “I love you..”
