Who: Lucifer and Allegra When: Monday afternoon What: Checking out the construction Where: Beelzebub’s Gallery – Upstairs Rating: PG-13
The address he had given had been for an out-of-the-way antiquities gallery – a large, though fairly non-descript building that could be passed by a hundred times if you were looking for the kind of establishment the Dawn Star was setting up, which, in truth, was kind of the point. It would be exclusive and members-only when it was finished, not some dive bar where people could wander in off the street.
Which brings the focus to probably the most interesting part. Sitting outside in the sunlight, the rather scrawny form of the Lightbringer himself. Youthful features and loose blond curls, a worn-out old t-shirt and jeans with holes in the knees do not really scream Morning Lord. In fact, they rather scream to get off the steps and stop loitering. But the gallery was owned by the next in command in the hierarchy – Beelzebub – and the demon had happily offered up the upper floors for the Prince to open up his establishment.
For amusement’s sake, he rolled a small gold nail across the backs of his knuckles, like one might roll a ring or a coin, letting it flash in the sunlight as he did, a small smirk on his face.
