"I gave an entire box of them to a girl going door to door selling magazines for some college trip, told her to throw an all girl party in her dorm and sell them for what she thought was fair. She made enough for her trip off of them and then some, so that was good." She just hadn't really found a way of giving most of them away other than leaving a box in the backroom of Decadence for her employees to take home.
"Well, not all pain is safe, or good, sometimes it means you're doing something wrong and in this case it's that kind of pain, so you really need to know." She nodded gently, then gave him a warm smile. "Use a lot of that, and start with one of the smallest ones, the one that intimidates you least. Most people would suggest your own fingers first, but you're a musician, your hands and fingers are calloused and likely a bit rough, so this is better."
She shakes her head at him and gives him that same warm little smile, "No, darling, it may be embarrassing, but the truth is, you'll feel safer and enjoy it more, all of it, if you're with the right person."
