It was luck that the table was stone and her knees didn't bump over her card arrangement when she hit them against the bottom of it in surprise. Why on Earth was someone talking to her? She looked up at the man's voice and squinted her eyes, trying to see if perhaps he'd turn into someone she recognised. It was unlikely and not a surprise when he didn't. It wasn't as if she knew many people in the city.
Salvia bit down on her lower lip, debating internally whether or not answering was an appropriate thing to do. Did talking to strangers ever end well? Of course, she didn't particularly want to be rude either.
Her nose twitched nervously before she opened her mouth. "If you've n-n-never used them, y-you're probably overdue f-f-for a r-reading," she said softly, reaching skittishly into her bag and patting around for her open baggie of Salvia leaves. She grasped one and brought it up to pop in between her lips. It would help. "The c-can be helpful."
