On top of finding presents for his siblings with Frankie, Caerus also had the pleasure of bringing her along to the party. It had seemed like the only thing to do - he enjoyed her company, and he believed a party was a perfect occasion to both be in her company and be with other people he liked. He could introduce her to any family members that showed up - well - the friendlier ones, in any case. He’d judge each opportunity as it came.
Not that he expected her to stick by him the whole time. If this party was like any other one thrown by a member of the pantheon, there would be all sorts of things going on - things to see, people to meet. Of course, if she did happen to - Caerus shook his head a little as he walked in. A few last minute additions to the gifts and an incident or two along the way had made them a little late, but Caerus was always one to get places when he got there - punctuality wasn’t always necessary. He doubted Helen or the twins had a chance to miss anyone, anyway, with all the guests milling around. Caerus had to wonder if he’d even be able to find them without more than a little effort on his part - which he would do if he had to. He smiled as he cast a glance around the room, then looked over at Frankie.
“So! Would you like to hunt the birthday boys and girl down, or wait until we trip over them at some point?”
