She gave her mellow companion a surprisingly shrewd look. Just live, eh? Now that was funny. Real funny. So damn funny it just about made a girl want to hang her head and howl.
*Legra,* began the sweet, sad voice in her head, but she didn't feel like letting it continue.
"Come on, old timer." Quick as rubber, the blond bounced up to her feet and tugged Pacey's hand. "Up and at 'em, ahoy! I don't know about romance or wandering, but I do know there's decent breakfast munchies up on Amsterdam." She sketched a courtly bow. "Sir, in most glad thanks for saving my aimless life I wish to gift upon you the boon of beef hash and home fries. You're carrying the cat, though."
