Who: Ate, Guns, and some unlucky NPCs When: Thursday night Where: Outside a dirty bar downtown What: Ate getting herself in and out of trouble... and probably back in it again. Warnings Now, this is not going to be pretty. We're talking violence, strong language, adult content...
Toilet training a puppy was hard work. Ate had lived for thousands of years, done more than any mere mortal could even comprehend, seen the world and held the lives of others in her hands, but she couldn't work out how the hell to stop a miniature Labrador taking a shit on her carpet.
So Ate was taking the sensible road and leaving the dog to do whatever it damn well wanted while she went out for a drink and a night on the town. The guys may not have been as super adorable as Tate (the name was sticking with the puppy, if only because of the reaction Pasithea had to it), but at least she didn't have to clean up after them.
She'd found herself a little group of men already quite drunk as she joined them, her lithe body slipping between their big muscly forms. She liked big guys. It was true what they said about them falling harder. So now with a beer in hand she flirted and teased, laughing happily at their big dumb antics to impress her and generally having a wonderful time as she decided which of them she wanted to claw the eyeballs out of a little later.
Before midnight she'd made her choice and after returning from the bathroom she led her mark outside, leading him by the front of the shirt as they kissed, heading backwards into an alley. Her spare hand was already going from the knife under her jacket. She was going to spill him open right here and hope she could strangle him with his intestines before he died.
But Ate had spent so long in this city being the bad guy, and she was so cocky about it, that the double-cross didn't even appear to her until it was too late. "What's going on, boys?" she asked the three others as they came down the alley after them. Her grin still in place. She didn't even spot the danger yet.
"We didn't want him having all the fun, did we?"
Oh, so Ate was supposed to be the entertainment for all of them then? She tightened her grip on the shirt of the man she'd come down with. "Sorry," she growled, but still smiled. "I don't do group work."
"Well," the mark said as he grabbed for her hair to pin her. "First time for everything." She hissed her breath when he yanked at her hair and then the knife came out and she slashed at his arm, backing away as he did the same, yelping in surprise.
She stood ready with a wicked grin on her face but inside she was frustrated and annoyed. Four of them, all of them bigger than her on their own. The maths there didn't exactly go well for her. "Alright then," she said, flicking the knife out as she watched them. "Who wants to try it first?"
