Morpheus was not used to Athena responding with little more than an acknowledgement, and he turned his attention to her more fully. He watched her quietly for a bit, thinking about what had just happened to her. It was difficult to presume what she was thinking. Not only was Morpheus completely comfortable here, but those he usually interacted with were more accustomed to being here, and with him.
To keep reminding himself that Athena was not was no easy feat. She was not at ease with this world, like those he knew well, but what she felt mattered, unlike everyone else who passed through his realm. It was very much something new.
He looked away again, and after some more thought, produced some glasses and a pitcher of lemonade. He thought it would be welcome…..without taking too much from her, he could really only guess he was correct.
