Who: Baldr and Frigg
What: Going to Baldr's hall for some mother-son bonding time.
When: Backdated to Saturday morning, 7:00 a.m.
Where: Frigg's place and then Friðrshöll (upstate New York)
Warnings: None, probably.
The work week was always tiring, what with his frequent trips out of town on the Earth-mother's business, and Baldr felt drained come Saturday morning. Still, he had a visit with his mother to look forward to, and a weekend spent at his hall would refresh him far more than sleep.
He had taken to renting a car for these weekend trips; it was easier than planning them around train schedules and taxi companies, and anyway there were few drivers who were willing to go as far into the country as the site of his dear Friðrshöll. He liked it that way -- the old house, now that it was fixed up, was perfect for his purposes, and the surrounding woodlands brought peace to his poor ones who were staying in his place of refuge.
So he showed up, as promised, at his mother's house promptly at seven in the morning. He had never been one to waste daylight, and had been up and about since dawn, seeing to the mortal concerns he still had in this city, but this -- seeing his mother again -- was the moment that made his heart sing. He knocked, politely, and waited for her to answer.
