Alyssa stepped out of the car and stretched. She was tired from her long journey, but she didn't do well sitting in cramped spaces for a long period of time. She wanted to go out and run, but that would have to wait too. First she needed to load up on veggies and milk and a few cold cuts to make a quick and easier dinner. She'd have to come back later to get the necessities.
...not that she would ever let Karl see her secret collection of frozen dinners. It would spoil half her ammo for his vending machine habit.
"I'll bet. You're like a bulldozer in a fight, Karl. Nothing can stop you." Twisting to the side a little, she finally stretched out the crick in her back which had been bothering her. "I'll have to go see him later, rub it in a little."
