The dark haired goddess didn’t bother to correct his assumption that he somehow managed to escape her purview. In addition to being part of her pantheon, loose thought it may be, he was also equal to her in power – or rather, equal enough that she wouldn’t risk finding out who had the edge. No, if he wanted to believe himself immune to her constructs, then she was more than happy to allow it. The more he underestimated her depth, as a person and a power, the less of a threat he’d see her as, and that was so much the better. She couldn’t help but smile a bit.
“Hardly too large for a big, strapping god like you,” she teased him gently. Her fingers brushed lightly over his arm as she tilted her head, as though looking to confirm her words. Then she let him go and laughed lightly. “You’re right, though, it is a little sad to see them so confined. Perhaps you should put some of your own money into the economy and liberate that one. He seems to have taken to you.”
