Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:hermaphroditos, min, pan

Who: Pan, Min and Hari
Where: Min's restaurant/club
When: Wednesday Lunchtime
What: Catch up of old temple-mates and a forced lunch for Hari
Warnings: There's bound to be discussion of sex. It's Pan and Min after all!

Pan was fashionably late, of course, strolling along in a large pair of shades and large bundled scarf around his neck and a large eye-catching presence that had caught him several second glances from humans crossing his path on the street. Yeah, Pan liked second glances. He felt a little better now having had a shave and a good night's sleep at Hari's place.

Speaking of his brother, he glanced over his shoulder just to make sure Hari hadn't attempted to escape this meeting. He'd made it quite clear he didn't want to come, and Pan had made it quite clear that his brother had no other choice in the matter and he should really quiet down and accept the fact that he was going to have to eat lunch in the company of his half-brother and his friend. Part of him had been convinced he was going to require some kind of leash to keep Hari in check.

"This is it I think!" Pan announced, halting with no prior warning just so Hari would stumble to avoid him. He shouldn't enjoy teasing his little brother as much as he did, but hell, a God needed to have some fun! He peered through the door excitedly, looking for any sign of Min.

Oh there were definitely signs of life in Heliopolis. Not Min specifically yet but signs of life. People were hustling and bustling all over the place. Really it was just noisy. Sound checks, rehearsals for the opening, generally people rushing around everywhere. Some were very scantly clad - both male and female.

Some harried looking female with glasses was suddenly at the door in front of Pan and Hari, glaring out at them. She had a clipboard and a pen tucked behind her ear. Prying open the door a crack, she arched an eyebrow and said, "I'm sorry. No one is allowed in right now unless you have an appointment with Mister Naji. Please step away from the glass."

Pan's eyes were busy taking in the wonderful forms of the mostly naked men and women that he barely noticed the woman standing in front of him.
"Mmm?" He turned to her as if she had simply asked him the time. He looked her up and down for a moment before pulled his sunglasses up onto the top of his head, "Oh. Appointment? Yeah, I'm his lunch date."
He grinned at her, flicking his gaze down to her clipboard. He liked that, getting judged before people knew the whole story, especially when he knew he was above their judgement, like when people assumed he was poor. He hoped she would apologise profusely.
"I'm an old friend," He added, just to see if it would effect his treatment.

Hari just wasn't wearing his impressed face. And if it had been anyone else he wouldn't have come or been dragged along, but his big brother enjoyed tormenting him, and the fact that they were currenting cohabiting could only make his life unpleasant if he refused.

He didn't really see the point in his being here, either. It wasn't as though Pan could get some kicks out of showing off odd family members.

The place looked busy as well. Hari hung back, masking his jealousy as he watched the men work in a way he had perfected over time.

As Pan and the woman 'conversed' he wondered who she thought he was. Some hanger on? Perhaps a high class (Well he had to give himself some credit) hooker? Considering he looked about fifteen that would make Pan look rather bad, but honestly his brother was hardly exhibiting traits of a man who worried about opinions. Probably just as well.

The woman (Mina, which amused Min to no end) scrunched up her nose. These two were the lunch appointment? Mirza was really letting his clientèle slip down into the gutters. She let the door shut in Pan's face and turned sharply on her patent leather high heels. Mina was so uptight and anal she could turn coal into a diamond and really, no need to illustrate where. She half-shouted into the din of noise, "Mister Naji! Please come to the door." And without another word, she strode away, leaving Hari and Pan rather stuck...

Until Min came walking towards the door looking none too pleased about being interrupted. Of course, then he remembered the lunch date and who exactly he was supposed to be meeting. Still, he couldn't wipe the scowl completely from his features. Today was not going as it was planned.

He settled behind the glass doors giving Pan and Hari an appraising look - a very over dramatic and obviously sarcastic one - before opening the doors fully. "Hello old friend," he said to Pan looked Hari up and down again without masking it, "and hopefully new friend. Welcome to Heliopolis..." he lowered his voice, "positively filled to the brim with mortals so shh."

Pan frowned as the door was closed in his face. Nice. He made a mental note to complain to the management, well, Min, who appeared not moments afterward. Pan crossed his arms for a moment, returning the appraising glance up and down Min's body before grinning widely.
"Mr. Naji," Pan smirked and quickly jumped forward to embrace his old friend, regardless of how inappropriate it might've seemed. Since when did Pan care? He stepped back and signalled to Hari, "This is my hermanito Herma--hm, Hari. Hari say hello!" He nudged his brother's shoulder, pushing him forwards slightly, as if he wanted to parade him in front of Min like some sort of pedigree pet.

Hari tipped his head to consider Min as his brother and old friend exchanged greetings. He turned his head and glared up at Pan as he was nudged forward.

He shuffled and looked at Min, used to being patronised by his brother but wondering if this guy was going to be the same. He held out his hand, the way most people greeted each other these days, aiming to at least be polite.

"Hi. Pleased to meet you."

Min returned the embrace, sneaking a kiss to his cheek without really thinking about it. It was just the thing to do - always had been. Of course, with their history it was no wonder. "You look good without the goat legs, friend," he couldn't help himself. It needed to be said.

Hari was certainly polite and oh so modernized. Min rolled his eyes a little and embraced Hari like he'd done with Pan. Really, they were all family (not truly but they might as well have been. Min had been 'associated' with Pan for ages). "Come inside to my office. It'll be quiet there at least." He gestured them inside, taking a moment to look over his shoulder at what appeared to be a shouting match.

He growled faintly and shouted over all their voices, "Quit bitching. Both of you. And lose the feathers - you're not a peacock or a drag queen." Yeah. It was a couple of guys.

Pan grinned at the kiss and struggled to keep his hands to himself, watching instead as Hari greeted Min with such perfect formality. Silly little brother! Pan nodded in agreement when Min addressed them both, "You know I like it quiet. And private."

He winked and brushed past Min with as much contact as possible, regardless of the fact there was plenty of space for him to pass inside. He tipped his sunglasses back onto his head and blatantly admired the two arguing male dancers, followed by a woman who was baring enough skin that Pan's imagination wasn't too stressed when he looked at her.
"You know I like this place already," He remarked happily as he was shown into Min's office, "Nothing like seeing skin before lunch!"

Hari was watching the dancers as well. He was still jealous of them. Of the way they could bare their bodies proudly and knowing they did nothing more than dance unless they wanted to-

He followed behind Pan, brushing past Min as well, a little lighter than his brother had but touching nonetheless.

"Before lunch. After lunch. Before, during and after breakfast. Any time of the day is good for you and skin," Hari said to Pan. But truthfully he rather liked this place as well. And he immediately liked Min.

"Oh really? I don't recall you ever enjoying it quiet... And I don't believe there was ever a total preference for private," Min arched an eyebrow then snickered softly to himself. Pan was a terrible influence. He smacked the elder Greek's ass since he was being so obvious then winked at Hari before taking the lead towards his office.

This public part of the club was rather elegant. There was, of course, the club part which was pretty damned basic to be honest. The restaurant portion on either side was obvious elegance in gold and cream colors. The walls were painted up in Egyptian hieroglyphics depicting all the more popular stories. Of course, the dirtier ones were in the back...

On the way towards a spiral staircase tucked away in a corner, he grabbed a couple of menus, "Mina, send Sarah up in about fifteen minutes would you?" He started up the stairs, glancing momentarily over his shoulder at Hari, "During any meal really. I remember this one time... Qadesh was trying to enjoy some sugared dates." He trailed off, letting Pan have the opportunity to either distract or finish the tale.

Pan had been scanning the stories on the walls, smirking at the rather sexy stories hidden in what most of the mortals eating there would assume were just pretty pictures painted on the wall. As he was shown into Min's office he happily collapsed into the nearest chair and laughed, "Oh yeah, I remember. Well, you know, secretly she wanted me really badly. It just took a little coaxing to get her to admit it. And she said that sugared dates DID actually taste better off of my body, and..you know, I think they tasted better out of hers.." He smirked, a dirty, dirty smile as he thought about just what he'd done with some of those sugared dates. He was fairly certain no dates had ever been in the places she'd had them before or even since that day.

"But once you've blown your load and you're all relaxed, everything tastes so much better!" He insisted, attempting to explain the method of his maddess, "Once that tension is gone, don't you find yourself enjoying everything else just that little bit more?" He glanced at Hari with an eyebrow raised. A knowing glance it seemed, before looking over at Min, "I could help make your lunch a little sweeter amigo," He winked, "Or a little saltier... you know, for old times sake!"

Hari was quiet as the other two talked, though he didn't want to seem ungrateful or rude. He sat close to Pan, which was unusual for him he had to admit.

He knew they were talking about dirty things, though. And he sincerely hoped the two of them weren't going to start fucking on Min's desk, because that would just make things awkward.

"I do hope you're not planning on relieving any tensions here," he muttered to his brother. "I don't want to be caught up in the middle of your..." he let the end of the sentence fall open, although it wasn't as though he hadn't been caught up in Pan's sex games before.

With another glance at Min he wondered if maybe he'd got himself in a sticky situation, metaphorical and literal. Considering the decorations in the room next door, the scantily clad dancers- it was starting to dawn on him that his brother and Min together were not the most wholesome of pairings.

Once inside of his office, along with the other two, he shut the door and started fetching wine glasses. Yeah, he had wine and glasses in his office. It was only good business any more to offer alcohol. Well, it had always been that way. Except when Pan started talking about Qadesh like that... Min got rather angry, rather quickly and the glass in his hand shattered - not from power. Oh no, he had actually squeezed it into pieces. It was... messy to say the least.

He didn't even acknowledge the innuendo afterward as he slowly turned around, glaring at Pan. "That is not the story I was talking about. And if you ever touch her again, I will kill you," the thing about Egyptians is that they did not generally fuck around once married. Min had because he was a fertility god and orgies were part of the way the mortals had decided to celebrate him. And Nephythys because who really wanted to be married to Set?

So in that moment? Hari did not have to worry about getting caught in any... sticky situations. With his... not bleeding hand he handed Hari the restaurant menus, letting him decide if Pan got one or not while Min went around to find the tweezers he kept in his desk to get the bits of glass out.

"Shit-" Pan winced as the glass broke, and sat forwards as if to get up and help, only to catch the look on Min's face which stopped him instantly.
"But that was years-" he started, but figured that probably wasn't the best thing to say. Min wasn't one to exaggerate terribly when it came to things like his wife and hurting Pan because of her, "Yeah, Ok, I know... I didn't mean anything by it."

He shifted in his chair and watched Min fishing for his tweezers before holding out his hand to Hari, hoping for a menu to quickly change the topic of conversation.
"You know I never really..." He tried, but stopped before that little lie had even finished. No point in making it worse, "So, what's on the menu?"

Hari's eyes had widened in shock when Min began to bleed. He tore his eyes away and looked at Pan, not knowing exactly what it was that had been said but knowing it hadn't been good at all.

His own hands were shaking slighty as he passed a menu to Pan and then opened his own and tried to focus on the words. Which wasn't easy. He glanced back up at Min, watching him with the tweezers.

"Would...Min would you like some help?" he asked very quietly, not knowing if he should be offering because...Pan wasn't the best person to be associated with sometimes.

Pan had definitely had an open mouth - insert hoof moment. Min did not want his help or his words at the moment. Oh sure, he would cool down eventually but it would take a great deal of appeasement to make the elder god happy again.

"Look and perhaps you'' see," he snarled a little at Pan. The menu held a little bit of everything - a fine vegan section, a few common American foods, a great deal of Egyptian dishes, fish platters. Really, quite varied.

His eyes flicked sharply to Hari and for a moment they were almost flooded with blackness. But the absence of color leaked away and he sighed heavily. "Yes, please. I can tweeze an eyebrow but I'm no good with glass," it had happened before but not because of something like this. These sorts of things happened in over 6000 years of life. Really they did. He had nothing against Hermaphroditos just because he was related to Pan at that moment. That wouldn't be fair and if he was anything, he was fair.

Hari got up and wandered towards Min, casting a glare at his brother.

"Here," he took the tweezers from Min and led him to sit down, holding his hand in his lap to pick out the pieces of glass. "You have lovely skin," he began, wanting to make Min a little less...angry god. "And your restaurant is lovely too. The decor is awesome. I don't just mean all the naked people wandering around," he smiled.

He fell silent, concentrating on Min's hand. When he was satisfied he held it up and kissed Min's wrist, working a little bit of his magic to heal the skin, though he was sure the other god could have done that on his own easily.

Pan sat with his menu, watching Hari delicately picking the glass from Min's hand. Yeah, he did feel a little shitty about that, but Pan found it difficult to understand Min's fidelity, and why he was so concerned about Pan messing around with his wife. It wasn't as if they had been having a relationship behind Min's back. Pan himself had never really be loyal to anyone, mainly because he'd never fallen in love with anyone beyond their appearance.
He pursed his lips slightly as Hari kissed Min's hand but said nothing. His brother was definitely the more caring and considerate out of the two of them.

Min sat where Hari led him and let the youngest work on removing the glass. He hissed a little with each wince for the removal of glass was very painful. And he managed a chuckle as Hermaphroditos tried to lessen his anger with compliments. To be honest, it was working a little anyway.

Pan would never understand the way Min loved Qadesh and Reshep. All five parts of his soul longed for those two alone. Everyone else just filled up the empty spots because they had been separated for so long.

The proper smile came at the healing kiss at his wrist. With his other hand, he brushed his fingers over Hari's cheek, "Thank you. I'm in your debt." He pressed a sweet but brief kiss to the youngest's lips then slipped back into Host mode.

There was a soft knock at the door before Sarah stepped into the office. The waitress was dressed in a rather cute uniform with a fluffy skirt that stopped about mid-thigh and a pressed white blouse. Honestly, she looked like something out of a cutesy anime. She clearly wanted to ask what the heck had happened in here but managed to keep her question to, "Are you guys ready with your orders or do you need a little bit more time?"

Hari was glad he could get a proper smile from Min. He wanted Min to be happy again, as he'd been when they'd come in. He hated thinking they'd made Min angry.

His hair bristled as a pleased shiver ran through him at the kiss, a bashful little smile passed over his face.

He hadn't even looked at the menu yet, but he looked to Min. "I'll have whatever you recommend. I haven't tried a great deal of Egyptian food..." he said quietly, his eyes fixing on Pan again. "I think you should say sorry, as well. Min hurt his hand."

Pan regarded the two of them and the soft kiss they shared with some curiosity and, because it was Pan, a little bit of an expression that implied he'd like to see more. But it faded as Hari looked at him and told him to apologise.
No, that was a little too much for Pan. He was too proud to do that, too much like a spoiled child. Instead, he looked over at Sarah and back to the menu, "I'll have the stuffed eggplant!"
He looked back at Hari, as if to say 'fuck you and your apology'. Still, Min WAS his friend, and he had no intention of letting this go. He would wait though, till he felt it was better. A good moment.
"So Min, you make this whole menu yourself or do you have a guy under the express order to put lettuce in everything? Not that I'm complaining. You know I love to eat it," He offered, a change in conversation, a stab at lowering tensions without apologising.

Sarah was sort of starting at Hari, quietly wondering who the frick Min was only to realize that the only other one was her boss. Min must have been some name used between friends or something. Only the air wasn't very friendly... She wrote down the one guy's order as her boss stood up and approached.

Once near the waitress, he leaned in to whisper in her ear with his hands behind his back because really harassment laws were ridiculous in this day and age. When he was finished whispering, he leaned back and gave her a serious look, "Have you got all that?" Sarah nodded and quickly disappeared to give the order before she forgot it all.

With the door shut once more, he addressed Hari, "Something simple for us. Shawarma. It's rather like a sandwich. Hummus, amba, tomato, cucumber and beef on pita bread." And not a leaf of lettuce in sight. He returned to retrieving wine for all of them, getting a nice new glass to replace the broken one, "I assisted with the menu and received input from my chef. There's no point in being an evil overlord about it."

Hari didn't even consider the fact that he had called Min the wrong name. He was still glaring at his brother, although he knew he was going to pay for his rudeness later.

He returned his attentions to Min when the waitress had left, smiling at the description of their food. "Well, that sounds wonderful," he replied. "I know very little about cooking. I have to say I've been very well looked after-" he grinned.

"So. Tell me. Is the back club open all the time? Or do you open it at a later time? Could you get a salad and go and watch some naked people?" He was just making conversation, but he was also rather interested for his own personal reasons.

Pan watched the exchange between Sarah and Min with all the curiosity of a cat, but opted not to ask why he'd decided to whisper his order. Instead he snuggled back in his chair and crossed one leg over the other, regarding the two Gods he was left with as she left.

"I would LOVE to get a salad and watch some naked people. Min, old friend, did you make this place entirely with me in mind?" He teased with a playful grin. He flicked his gaze to Hari and his smile turned to something more of a smirk, "Doesn't really strike me as your scene hermanito, unless you want to dance in a salad bar?"

Min chuckled at Hari. He had no doubt that the youngest had several admirers that kept him positively pampered. He produced a bottle of Chateau des Reves which was often considered Egypt's best wine from behind his desk. And it was a particularly expensive bottle. Rather expertly he opened the wine and poured three glasses before setting down the bottle.

"Hardly Pan. This place is my temple and meant for me and my family," anything to get them more and more power. "The back club opens at 8 pm unlike the main club which opens at 7pm. Food is not welcome in the back but alcohol is of course fine. Just seems like it would be bad manners to have food back there."

He agreed with Pan that Hermaphroditos didn't exactly seem like the type to be interested in the back club and he slipped around Hari's chair, sliding a hand over his shoulder and down his chest while presenting a filled wine glass to him with the other, "Perhaps he's more interested in just watching. I wouldn't blame you, Hermaphroditos."

Hari reached for the wine as Min slid around him, shivering slightly when Min's hand moved down his chest and over one of his breasts.

"I did wonder, actually," he began softly. "I wondered if it would have been possible for me to participate but-" he looked into his wine, then sipped it. "I don't suppose my body is something your patrons would be interested in."

The wine was strong and very potent. He'd been used to the Greek way of diluting his wine with water all of his life, so having it poured and drank straight- he wasn't going to be able to drink a lot of it.

Pan sipped the wine with delight, no mind about the strength. He'd been in so many places and drunk so many different types of alcohol over the years that it took a lot more to go to his head now. His eyes were tracing Min's body, down his arm to where he was casually clutching Hari, and the almost hidden curve of his brother's breast.
Oh yes, his brother's interesting body...

"That's a good idea," Pan said pointedly, suddenly apparently all about business, "Didn't you say something about dancers and needing more? I mean Hari, what're you even doing right now?"
It was a question he probably should've asked oh, say, a week ago, when he'd moved into Hari's apartment unannounced. But then Pan had had better things to think about, like the nymph in the park and Min being nearby and the lack of green areas in the city.

Min's hand slid back up and he moved away back to the chair behind his desk without another touch. Unlike Pan, Min had patience, delicacy... He propped his boots up on the desk and fished a hand-rolled cigarette from a golden box. "So we're on to business then?" As this definitely sounded like business.

A brief sip of wine and he lit up the smoke although no lighter seemed to be present. Instead it was like a spark of electricity between Min's forefinger and thumb. After all, he had once been a god of storms. Exhaling smoke from that initial drag, he thought for a moment... "To be honest, Hari? Probably not. It depends on how well you can pretend to be one or the other and how you would look in a thong."

Better to be honest than lie. "Still... It is possible I could find some venue for you."

Hari nodded his head. "I expected as much. It doesn't matter. I didn't come here to ask you for a job, really." He didn't want Min to think he'd only come along in order to ask for a job. Because that wasn't true.

He sipped his wine again, wincing once more at it's potency. He decided to leave more of it for when food was here and he had something to line his stomach.

"And I don't know how I'd look in a thong, honestly," he finished with a little chuckle, sliding down in his chair, determined to be quiet.

Pan looked almost disappointed that Min had moved away from his brother, doubly so as it was revealed Hari probably wouldn't be dancing for dollar bills. But still...
"I'd like to know how you'd look in a thong," Pan said, smiling over the rim of his wine glass. He twirled the glass slowly, inhaling the wine to savour the flavour. He hadn't had any taste of Egypt in years and it brought back such lovely memories of hot sun and desert and lush riverbanks and the smell of exotic oils being spread over deep olive skin...

"I'm sure Min has one spare, no? Perhaps you should model one, so Min can see if he could fit you into a mainstage act hermanito. What do you think Temple Brother of mine?" Pan glanced between the two of them.
It probably would've seemed like a helpful suggestion if it had come from anyone but Pan. Coming from Pan, it really just sounded like an excuse to perv over his little brother's body. And it probably was.

Quietly, he listened and sipped his wine. Yes, Pan was right. He sounded like he was just trying to perv instead of being helpful. However the idea had some merit that even Min couldn't deny. "We have plenty spare outfits and accessories," he agreed, nodding a little.

"If you're really interested, you could try something on. As public or as private as you want," which meant that if Hermaphroditos said No Pan, that meant No Pan. And he gave his 'Temple Brother' a look that clearly illustrated this thought.

Hari frowned at his brother again, then let his attention return to Min.

"If you'd like-" he started. "Though admittedly it's not all that possible for me to...dress in very little without revealing my...differences," he said, picking his words as well as he could. "I wouldn't want you to go out of your way to find something when I couldn't use be of any use to you in return."

Pan shot Min a quick 'aw no fair!' glance at the obvious hint that he'd be banished without a second thought if his brother requested it. Where was the fun in that? He wanted to see Hari's unusual body as well! Part nymph now? Pan loved nymphs! And he really did wish to see which parts...

"I dunno, Min here is a bit of a master," Pan tilted his glass towards his friend, offering a compliment to try and wriggle his way back into Min's good graces, albeit slowly, "He could probably find something to fit. Or else, offer a sort of, once-a-week, special show...?"

He appreciated being called the master but he didn't know the master of what. Yeah, there was no wiggling here. Not with what Pan was suggestion. His nose scrunched up in a sort of distaste and he sort of glared at his counterpart, "I'm not going to turn Hari into some sort of... Of freakshow. You have no fucking clue what that's like." Or well, he did. Although Min honestly doubted Pan ever spent time as the Goatboy anywhere without enjoying the attention.

In the Victorian era with dark hair and dark skin... He hadn't even been allowed to breathe some of the same air as white folk. It had been ridiculous. "Where the Hell is Sarah with our food," he muttered has he drank down half his glass of wine. There hadn't been nearly enough time for the food to be done. He was just being irritable now with memories.

Well it was good to know he wasn't the only person Pan managed to piss off at least once an hour. Even old, old friends weren't excused.

"It's ok," he sighed, giving Min an almost reluctant smile. "It's...it's pretty much what I do for a living now anyway." Hari forced out a chuckle, though it wasn't at all convincing and he settled back into his chair, trying to make himself as inconspicuous as possible.

It was Pan's turn to throw a look, "Are you serious? Come on, I'm like the original freak!" He didn't sound the least bit hurt by that though. Almost proud. Almost.
"I didn't mean it like a freak-show anyway," He continued, shifted around in his chair, his eyes tracing over Hari, despite how his half-brother was trying to sink out of sight, "I meant more of an...exotic taste evening. You know? There's definitely a market for everyone when it comes to sex. Mortals get off on the weirdest stuff nowadays. I remember when coming over a young boy's thighs was all you'd need! Now people have to be suspended from ceiling with a lemon up their culo or whatever it is."
Pan, never one for tact or pleasant conversational tones.

"I am perfectly serious although you are far from the original freak. Let's not forget my people are older than yours," and his family often had often had animal heads in the past. Not legs. That was decidedly freakier. He held up a hand in a sort of stop and wait gesture and took a deep breath, "I was about to rant... But let's just say when I manifested again a little over 100 years ago, it was a decidedly white world, eh?"

A drag from the cigarette and he tried to settle back into talk of Hari. Pan was right but at the same time, it just sounded like a freakshow. As he spoke, he exhaled the smoke, "Hari, if it's what you want to do? I can help you and offer you protection though admittedly... You're likely more powerful than I am." That's why he had built this place. To gather power. Wasn't going to work if it never got opened though.

"It's not what I want to do," Hari replied from his position almost swallowed by his seat. "It's so far from what I want to do, but I don't know if I have any other choice. I think I only exist because of sex," he whispered, lowering his eyes to stare into his wine as though it would hold all of the answers he was looking for. "At least with you here, Min, it wouldn't be so bad. I'd feel safer-" He glanced up at Pan.

Pan said nothing, but there was some flicker of sympathy on his face that he couldn't hide. Hari hadn't been born the way he was, his difference had been force upon him. Pan had grown up being different, learnt to accept his horns and tail with ease and it had shaped him as he was today. Hari's body had been forced upon him, and he was forced to shape himself around it, and it was pretty easy to see why he would dislike it.

With the fading out of their beautiful Greek empire with the coming of the modern age Gods like Hari needed to cling to whatever they could to siphon power from the masses of mortals who's very ideas had given birth to him in the first place.
It made Pan glad that his myth and been carried across the ages, and across the world.

His eyebrows furrowed together at Hari's response... and Pan's sudden silence. Huh. Well if Pan wanted to be quiet, he could be. "What do you want to do then?" Well, it was a pertinent question. Maybe he could help even if Hari only existed because of sex... You didn't have to stay with it permanently. He existed because of sex but you learned to work around it and incorporate it instead of relying on it solely.

He held up a finger for Hari to wait a moment as Sarah knocked on the door and the food was brought in. Plates were distributed in silence although... There was something odd on Pan's plate. It looked very much like goat's eyes had been used as a garnish. (The truth was they weren't really goat's eyes but extremely convincing spun sugar.) Sarah vanished almost immediately.

"I like that I can heal people. I've never been able to heal people before. It's a modern thing," Hari replied, unable to stop his eyes flitting towards his brother and his silence. "That or...I don't know. Everyone seems to be able to heal these days, it's nothing special. My body is the only thing tha-" he stopped when Min's finger lifted, his eyes swinging to Sarah this time, and then to Pan's plate as Min's had.

Words stuck in his throat for a second. Pan was an asshole, but Pan was his brother-

Pan had opened his mouth to offer something that was probably terribly un-insightful to the conversation when the door opened. He fell silent, watching Sarah in a way that was easily one step away from sexual harassment.
As she disappeared, a smile was playing on Pan's lips, a plan of seduction already forming in the back of his mind, but it was lost in an instant as he glanced down at the plate placed before him.

With a cry of disgust, Pan launched himself backward, kicking his chair away from the desk and the plate and the apparent goats eyes. They were believable enough to provoke him to queasiness, and he flicked his gaze up to Min's angrily, "What the fuck is this!? Chinga tu madre Min!"

Healing? Aw, that was sweet. Hari was such a nice person... And Min? Well, Min could be an asshole as much as anyone else. He could be particularly vengeful. Set was an attestation to that. So many thousands of years and he had never let the desert god breed. In the Egyptian pantheon, male fertility was his... And that counted with gods.

He was smiling, looking particularly satisfied with Pan's reaction. For a moment, he just tapped his fingers together, then stood up, "I'm so sorry, Pan. Those were supposed to be on my plate." He crossed over to Pan's plate, picked up one of the "goat's eyes" and popped it in his mouth. He leaned against his desk as he sucked the colored sugar off then spit the jawbreaker like hard candy ball into his palm and holding it out for Pan to see, "Now we're even. Ass."

Hari watched, still curled up in the chair, wary of the two other gods and their bickering. He knew Pan when he had a temper, when he was in a rage, and he'd seen Min as such only moments before.

"Um," he started, looking between the two of them, wishing Pan would calm down and wishing Min would sit beside him again. "Would you rather I-" went? Maybe? "I'm in the way here, aren't I?"

He knocked back the rest of his wine and stood, wobbled, fell back. Apparently he wasn't going anywhere.
