"So father's a square now?" he chuckled, breaking away from his mother to wander over to her couch - sitting down easily and stretching an arm over the back of it. He glanced back, looked her over and grinned. "Looks like you are too, actually." He didn't mind, he'd worked for The Man for a while himself and figured they all had to do what they had to do.
"Takeout," he hummed after a moment. "I got partial to Chinese as a result of all-night business meetings," he said - and at least that had meat in it, and would probably have to do for a while. "And they're quick." The next comment, about his ability to function, earned a playfully shocked expression and a small snort. "I eat while I'm doing other things," he said. "I'm not so thick that I can't multi-task. I can chew gum and walk at the same time too," he said, sticking his tongue out at her.
