Onatah couldn’t blame Rave for feeling the way she did. She knew all too well what it was liked to be ogled, especially when those ogling eyes were someone who was far from welcomed. Really, she wanted to throw something at Coyote for being so rude. Guns, on the other hand, she didn’t want to annoy. She just took things as they came. As long as he didn’t try anything, she really didn’t mind this. At his words, she turned her head toward Rave and offered her a warm smile. She and Lela would at least try and make her feel welcome, in a more friendly way.
And the next thing she knew, she was being pulled into her lap. Her eyes were wide for a moment before she did her very best to settle down. Well, that was rather rude. And then gain, she somehow thought it seemed like him. She remembered reading something in his first journal entry. Something about hooking up with a goddess. She hoped to the gods he wouldn’t try it on her… or either of the other goddesses there… or Silver Fox. But she did her best to be as friendly and welcoming as possible. At least it was her and not Lela in his lap. The other goddess would have felt very out of place and probably tried to get away. At least with Coyote, she knew what to expect.
Onatah smiled and nodded, “Oh yeah, I heard about that. I think it’s an excellent idea. It makes my job a little more tiring, but I’m happy to help the corn grow for it.” Her dark eyes followed his finger and she couldn’t help grinning when she realized what he was painting. How appropriate. She smirked, “Yes, I do.” She ignored the latter part about Christmas, though because she had just noticed how close his chin was. It was such a shame such a dangerous and terrible god had to be so damn cute.
Lela, meanwhile, was still looking out of place with Coyote. Part of her mind was wishing Iktomi were there. At least she knew his mannerisms. He could be very nice and he wouldn’t try to paint up her skirt, which was making her very uncomfortable at the moment. She stared down at where Coyote was painting, wanting to push him away. But instead, decided against it. She didn’t want Guns to flip out and go on a rampage all because she hadn’t liked what was going on. “Eh… can you paint my arm instead?” She asked awkwardly.
Really, she just wanted him to stop. She didn’t like his hands on her, and she certainly didn’t like where that hand was. It was too close for comfort. But she tried to put on a brave face. At least he was keeping the paint just under the skirt line, rather than going farther up. Instead of focusing on what was going on with her, she looked around at everyone else. Raven’s girlfriend looked very obviously uncomfortable, and like Onatah she offered a smile, though hers probably showed her own discomfort. And then she saw Erik and she couldn’t help smiling. “Ohh, is that your nephew, Raven?” She asked, having to raise her voice just a little over everyone else’s.
