Who: Hermaphroditos and Sebastian.
When: Sunday Lunchtime
Where: A cafe, somewhere in New York.
Warnings: Art discussion? Do you fear it?
Hermaphroditos had followed the directions to this place to the very last word. So lacking in confidence was he he'd left home with a good hour and a half before he was due to meet Sebastian. It only took him forty five minutes.
He wasn't sure whether he should go inside and wait, if he should ask the owner where it was Sebastian normally sat and if he could be directed there, but that would feel a little too much like a business meeting. Instead he opted for waiting outside, propped up against the wall beside the cafe door.
He was dressed in the usual baggy clothing he'd been sporting since he arrived here, despite the fact that he looked feminine enough that his girlish figure wouldn't draw much curiosity, there were times when he'd prefer to look and feel more like the boy he was born. He was more comfortable meeting new people this way. His way.
From here, at least, Hermaphroditos could watch the mortals passing him by, comparing them to the ones he'd known before. It occurred to him that he might not even recognise Sebastian, and would Sebastian recognise him?
