Now that he was back in the city, Astaroth had a list of people he wanted to see. It was in his head, where he kept most things that weren't worth writing down. In the end, he had the people he had to report to (and was having a bitch of a time finding, as far as he'd looked), the people he wanted to catch up on old times with and figure out just what in Hell's name had happened in this city. He had a pretty good idea of what had happened, but it would be nice to get the whole story from the perspective of someone who wasn't looking for a raise. Personally, he was waiting for a mortal to summon him and ask what had happened, because then he could have likely written a full dissertation on it from the sound of things.
Then there were the people he just wanted to antagonize. He didn't usually go through the trouble of finding people specifically to antagonize them, mainly because he considered himself a busy enough man already without acting like a lukewarm comic book villain. With some people, or in this case Virtues, he was willing to make an exception, mainly because it wasn't that tough to find them.
In the case of Diligence, he'd seen her a few times at the Pinkberry at the same time and made the assumption, that, true to her nature, it was probably a planned part of her schedule. Otherwise, he wouldn't have stopped here. Sure, it reeked of modern elitism, but there were a thousand places in this city where one could get the same effect. Plus, he'd never been much for frozen yogurt, or yogurt in general. He sent out unnecessary e-mails and picked at the toppings.
