Silver Fox was clearly very happy about the arrival of Coyote. It had been so many years since they’d last seen each other; she couldn’t even remember the last time she’d seen him. For the past years, she’d simply wandered with hardly anything to do. And now, all of a sudden, she had more than enough to do. There were other’s in her pantheon walking around, albeit a couple who were obviously not happy with her arrival. But she was determined to show them she was fun to be around, and that she wouldn’t eat them when they were in their true forms.
Sitting in Coyote’s lap felt natural. After all, they’d cuddled and fallen asleep together so many times. Not like that! They were just close. They’d created the world and everything on it together, after all. When two beings have such an experience they do tend to become close. Silver Fox viewed him as a big brother figure, anyway. Nothing more.
Onatah had just been about to answer Coyote when Raven settled in next to her. The relief of having someone she enjoyed being around there (okay, she liked Silver Fox as well) was a huge relief. Not that she didn’t mind being around Coyote. Just… the history she shared with him made her just a tad paranoid around him. She wouldn’t have com if it had been only her and Coyote.
Both she and Silver Fox greeted Raven at the same time, “Hi!” Silver Fox even accompanied it with an enthusiastic wave. She didn’t think Raven was very fond of her, even though she’d promised she wouldn’t eat him. She simply didn’t understand. Her word was never broken, not without good reason. Onatah merely grinned at his comment. “This is very true,” she said, looking back to Coyote. The image of Lela even showing up would have been hilarious.
