The change in tone made Nike break out of her passive look and raise an eyebrow at the man before her. Now what did she do wrong? After the man turned around, Nike picked up her pen once more and looked down at the paper, convinced that this particular conversation was over with. The pen in her fingers started to twirl as she looked through the whole blah blah blah make your will blah blah health benefits blah blah...
And to think that she had to go through twenty more pages of this?
The wordiness of the papers was enough to make Nike look up again, this time, looking for said "Ryan" person. Although it didn't seem like he was very happy after whatever it was that Nike did to him--should she have smiled more?--maybe he could help with this ridiculous amount of paper work.
Nike sighed and stood up, taking up all of her paperwork, tucking the pen behind her ear and made her way towards the man once more.
"Ryan?" She tried once more, putting down the paperwork on a nearby surface and offered a hand. "I'm Victoria. Sorry." Apologies seemed to be the way to go for help, even if she wasn't exactly sure what she was apologizing for.
